THE EFR 7163 TURBO IS BORGWARNER'S STATE OF THE ART INDYCAR TURBOCHARGER
The EFR 7163 is the highest power small-frame BorgWarner EFR turbocharger. Flowing 60lb/min from a compact package, the 7163 is designed specifically for competitive racing use. Used in twin-turbo configuration by all current Indycar Racing teams, BorgWarner's state-of-the-art ‘Mixed-Flow Gamma-Ti Turbine Wheel’ design allows for a remarkably fast spool and huge powerbands. This turbo is wildy popular for a range of applications from Honda K series, Subaru EJ25 and it's a direct plug-n-play for Nissan SR20DET and other T25 based setups. As a twin turbo it works great for 350Z/370Z, Nissan RB30, Ford EcoBoost 3.5L and Porsche.

The EFR 7163 is available in (3) different turbine housing configurations:- 0.85 A/R T25 undivided (Internal WG)
- 0.85 A/R V-Band In/Out (Internal WG)
- 0.80 A/R T4 twinscroll (External WG)
- Turbine outlet: GT-Vband (aka small 3" vband) ~92mm OD for all EFR turbos

- Military-grade dual ceramic ball bearing assembly with silver-plated metal cage

- Watercooled light-weight Aluminum bearing housingwatercooling is recommended, 14mmbanjo bolts
- Double seals on both turbine and compressor end for extreme durability and resistance to any oil seepage
- Large internal wastegate (optional)
- Compressor recirculation valve (aka BOV)
- Boost control solenoid valve integrated into the compressor housing
