Made from solid 1-piece billet Chromoly steel forgings, the EXEDY Lightweight Racing Flywheels have superior strength and durability to billet steel and cast iron since the forged Chromoly (chromium-molybdenum steel) is 3 times more rigid than aluminum. Computer balanced for high RPM reliability and heat-treated for toughness to provide long, trouble-free life, the EXEDY Lightweight Racing Flywheels also feature ring gear teeth that are milled directly onto them rather than pressed-on like an aluminum flywheel.
